My family has lived in Long Beach since 1999 and we're big fans of the community. I have an extensive background in technology, business, and new media, and recently completed an MBA at USC with a focus on entrepreurship and marketing. I produce a photography podcast with a co-host and am an avid follower of new media developments (blogging, podcasting, etc.). I love to meet new people and learn about restaurants, events, etc. around Long Beach.

If you haven't tried it before, you might check out Yelp.com. It's a great site to use for discovering new restaurants, etc. in your neighborhood, and is even better to refer to when you travel. I was recently in Las Vegas for a conference and used Yelp to find a couple of great off-the-strip restaurants that I would have never known about. Let me know what you think!
